1. Overview

FinniCab Expense is designed to help you track your financial transactions easily. We use your personal data to provide and improve the service. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Data Collection & Usage

Local Financial Data

By default, all your financial entries (income and expenses) are stored locally on your device. We use an encrypted database to ensure your data stays private on your phone.

SMS Transaction Detection

With your permission, the app reads SMS notifications to suggest transaction entries. This process happens entirely on your device; your SMS content is never transmitted to our servers.

Optional Cloud Backup

If you choose to enable cloud backup using Google Sign-In, your data will be stored securely on Firebase Cloud Firestore. This is optional, and the app works fully offline without this feature.

3. Permissions Required

• SMS Permissions: To detect bank/UPI transaction notifications.
• Storage: To save generated PDF or Excel reports.
• Internet: To handle cloud backup and display advertisements.
• Notifications: To send you daily summaries and payment reminders.

4. Data Deletion & Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete Local Data: You can clear app data or uninstall the app to remove all local information.
• Delete Cloud Data: You can use the "Delete Backup" option in the app settings to remove data from our cloud servers.
• Account Deletion: You can request full account and data deletion at any time.

5. Advertisements

The app displays advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers to serve relevant ads. Premium users are excluded from seeing advertisements.
